[Beginning to Make Amends - Open to Namine] [Jul. 9th, 2007|02:10 pm]
The Giga House
[mood |calmcalm]

It had been a little while since he'd ventured back inside, having been rather occupied out in the gardens with a project he had started - but it was all but completed, now, and he had a reason for venturing back into the madhouse...

He wasn't certain where he'd find Namine, but he had no doubt in his mind that he'd find her; he'd left this far too long, and it was time to remedy that. Besides... he'd missed her, in a strange sort of way; before the fiasco that had been Castle Oblivion, they'd gotten along fairly well... before he'd gone and ruined all that. It wasn't going to be easy to erase the last of Namine's doubt in his intentions, but he certainly intended to try... it was really the least he could do, after all was said and done.

[ooc: I went ahead and started it~ Because I'm a dork and forgot to the other day. XP; Gomen?]

He smiled back at her, faintly, eying her collection with approval. "You're welcome. You're free to take as many as you like, as well as to come here any time - I've marked the path safely."

As glad as she was that Marluxia was beginning to act like the person she had once known and trusted, Naminé couldn't help but wonder if it was all just so that Marluxia could use her again. The old phrase "once bitten, twice shy" could very easily be applied to her at the moment. She hesitated again, her mind thinking back to Castle Oblivion. For her, it hadn't been that long since the events took place and everything was fresh in her memory. Even with her power over memory, she couldn't forget what happened, though she wanted to.

"Thank you, Marluxia," she said, voice soft and distracted. She held the bouquet she'd selected with loose fingers as she looked at the ground. Again she was holding back tears. She was happy to see a glimpse of the old Marluxia, but at the same time, she was frightened by what this change could mean.
